Mrs. Martin's Brownies
Maw-Maw wrote out this recipe, taken from the person she lived with in Charlotte, Mrs. Martin.
The last line of this recipe is great:
"They are real good cut in squares and served with a scoop of ice cream."
Punch for 70
This photo was taken at 43 Tribune Street, Concord, NC- approx. 1951-1952
The question remains: why would you want punch for 70?

Becky's Onion Soup Meatloaf
A cool blast from the past- a recipe written in Maw-Maw's hand and taken from Aunt Becky that was living in Mom's recipe box. Pretty cool. This photo was taken in Florida.
French Dressing
This photo, taken some time in the late 1940's, shows Mom and Dad with an unknown couple. Its easy to forget that they were once young and liked to hang out with friends-just like us! It shows us as a mirror in our own parents. I love Mom's expression.
